The German directors team freischwimmer is made up of Christian Kantuzer (b.1971, studied film science and lives in Cologne) and Jan Oellrich (b.1973, studied at the academy of media arts and lives in Hamburg).

We are a creative and interdisciplinary working director and DOP team.

You could also call us a „creative art and communication lab", influenced by all forms of the arts: music, design, architecture, fashion, photography and film.

We create commercials, documentaries, web only video content and media art projects - whatever your needs are in the „brave new media world"!

From people to cars, from serious to humorous, from art to branded entertainment - we have a wide horizon of production skills and interests.

All projects can be accomplished with the help of the creative brains of our freischwimmer family. We can fulfil the demands of any job: live-action shootings by the award winning freischwimmer team, design work and motion graphics with the designer protopet, and flash interaction design and coding with the in-demand digital brand artist swfx.

And there are many more family members in the freischwimmer network: freelance producers, sound designers and composers, animators, editors and camera operators.

You can book us just as a two-directors team for live action shootings, or you can book the whole freischwimmer family as a complete creative production unit or autonomous working system!
